www.sybase.com OK, you know, the Electoral Tribunal in Panama is an institution that is the custodian of our nationality. We keep the records; what we call the “Civil Registry.” That is, we keep the records of all the living and the dead and all of their vital acts and all of their legal ramifications, like marriages, adoptions, and so forth. So we have a huge database, probably the most important database in the country. If something happens to that, the whole country is in jeopardy, you know. So in relation to be the custodian of that database, we issued the only and unique identity document that is binding for all legal and electoral purposes. And in addition to that, we organize elections. We have a comprehensive responsibility which is easily complemented with administering penal electoral justice. So we try those that are charged with violating the electoral penal code. So it’s a very comprehensive responsibility. And in the core of that information, of that database, it’s a relational database, a really powerful tool, that allows to pull that information quickly and use it for different purposes. And, of course, what makes it important for the international projection as a country is that we have achieved an opportunity to strengthen our democracy. Attract investments, because no one wants to go into a country and invest their money when you cannot be sure that there is legitimacy as far as the authorities when they’re elected.
